These Schimmel style tigers are made to resemble one that was owned by the Smiths in Millbach PA.  They were friends and collected my work, one year they allowed me to make a tracing of the tiger. Subsequently I made a wood pattern. This tiger is made from that pattern and painted in the style of Wilhelm Schimmel. The finish is lightly aged and measures approximately 12" long.
